A necessary market requirement is the forest management process in accordance with the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council ( FSC ), an international organization competent in this matter. Verification is carried out for compliance with the national and international legislative standards, implementation of labor protection, fulfillment of social obligations, compliance of works carried out in the forests with environmental international requirements, ensuring the rights of the local population and other stakeholders.

In February 2021, the main (primary) audit according to the FSC system was carried out at Zheshartsky LPK. The auditors checked the forest management system of the leased forest plots. According the audit results, the auditors have made a decision that the forest management system existing in ZhLPK LLC meets the requirements of the FSC standards.
